ABOUT HIO STUDIO
HIO Studio is an independent film studio based in Nagaland, dedicated to telling meaningful stories rooted in human experiences, emotions, and the realities of our communities.
Founded through a passion for visual storytelling, there has always been a desire to tell stories that go beyond what is seen on the surface, stories drawn from the people, experiences, and communities around us.
OUR FIRST FEATURE
CAN I BREATHE
Can I Breathe marks HIO Studio's first feature film.
A story that has been years in the making, the film explores the unseen struggles that can exist behind ordinary lives and the pressures that shape them. It is the beginning of a journey to bring stories from our communities to the screen, stories that are personal, human, and worth being heard.
After years of planning, Can I Breathe is finally ready to meet its audience.
